week. it was hipster paradise. okay, so a little more so than usual.
we did a lot of shopping, drinking, and eating. friday night we had
dinner with the twins at jack astor's. i can only describe it as a
higher class applebee's. by higher class i do mean a little more
pricey. while we waited for the twins, i bought a round of shots (holla
butter crowns. wait until chicago thans, just you wait) and a drink.
$25, not bad. i spent $100 on dinner for ash and i.....what did i eat?
it was good.
we had sushi on saturday. it's what i wanted, just once, while being in
toronto. we don't have any place that serves it other than fishbones
and i don't like theirs. i tried eel. it sounds worse than what it
tastes like. it was bbq. so good. i also had some salmon rolls (i
think philly rolls, i don't remember). MMM RAW FISH. honestly, you
wouldn't even be able to tell it was raw. one of the appetizers on the
boat had raw salmon and it was delicious.
we saw the ting tings and then ash and i ventured out with sarah and
tonya for a bit. we wanted to party until 4 a.m., they were serving til
then that night, but we all pooped out. went back and passed out. it
was a blast and i could so see myself living in toronto!!!
next up, tinted windows in chicago. what a shit show it will be!!!
